Our team is passionate about helping clients optimize technology and minimize risk. Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead and scale our sales organization. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, managing sales strategy, and building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has deep experience selling managed services, understands the MSP sales lifecycle, and thrives in fast-growing environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals Build, lead, and mentor a team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives Own the full sales funnel: prospecting, pipeline generation, forecasting, and closing Develop and refine sales processes, KPIs, compensation plans, and reporting Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Service Delivery, vCIOs) to ensure alignment and success Identify new market opportunities and support vertical-specific campaigns Oversee and contribute to RFP responses and high-value proposals Represent IT GOAT at industry events, conferences, and client-facing engagements Required Qualifications 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in a Managed Services or IT Services firm Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and the MSP value proposition Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Experience working with Hubspot, Zoominfo, Connectwise Preferred Qualifications Prior experience at a high-growth MSP or VAR Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or CMMC Understanding of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger Sale, SPIN) What We Offer Competitive base salary + performance-based commission Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) plan with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays A dynamic, people-first culture where innovation and growth are valued Ready to drive revenue and make an impact?
