Help Maintain Excellence - Become a Facilities Technician at Kohler Credit Union

Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly and ensuring spaces are safe and functional? As a Facilities Technician at Kohler Credit Union , based onsite in Kohler , you'll start at $19 per hour and receive a company vehicle. In this key role, you'll help maintain and optimize our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with facility inspections, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both our team and members.

What You'll Do at KCU As a Facilities Technician:

• Maintenance & Repairs
  • Respond promptly to facility helpdesk tickets, document corrective actions, and identify any additional work required.
  • Perform general maintenance on facility systems including plumbing, lighting, water treatment/conditioning, and grounds.
  • Assist in diagnosing facility issues and supporting the overall upkeep and efficiency of buildings and grounds .
• Preventative & Routine Tasks
  • Work with the Facility Coordinator to carry out routine and preventative maintenance such as HVAC filter replacements, condenser cleanings, and generator/fire alarm testing.
  • Ensure building cleaning supplies are stocked and support general cleanliness across all locations.
• Facility Appearance & Equipment Setup
  • Maintain a high-quality appearance of both interior and exterior areas, including entryways, drive-throughs, ATMs, and member-facing equipment.
  • Assemble office items such as chairs, carts, and other requested equipment.
• Logistics & Vehicle Maintenance
  • Provide daily mail pick-up and weekly inter-office courier service.
  • Keep the assigned company vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained.

Qualifications to Be a Facilities Technician at Kohler Credit Union:

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; this is an entry-level role, so no prior experience is necessary -though familiarity with basic maintenance tools and tasks is a plus.
• Skills & Abilities: Basic understanding of building systems and general maintenance procedures, with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license required
