Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare PowerBI Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics and PowerBI to support healthcare providers in making data-driven decisions that improve patient outcomes. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing healthcare data, creating interactive dashboards, and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI to present healthcare data.
• Connect to multiple data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel files, APIs) and perform data transformation to prepare datasets for analysis and visualization.
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
• Create efficient SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) to extract and manipulate healthcare data for use in reports and dashboards.
• Apply basic DAX functions to enhance PowerBI reports, ensuring accurate and insightful visualizations.
• Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot any issues related to the data sources or dashboards.
• Troubleshoot queries or modifying existing SQL scripts, even if you’re not building complex stored procedures or data pipelines from scratch.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3+ years of healthcare experience in data analytics, with experience using PowerBI and other Microsoft Power apps required.
• Strong understanding of SQL (ability to write basic to intermediate queries).
• Demonstrated experience with PowerBI dashboard design, data transformation, and visualization.
• Knowledge of basic DAX for creating calculated columns and measures.
• Experience with healthcare data analysis and understanding of healthcare terminology, processes, and compliance (HIPAA, etc.).

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 not including benefits. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
