Heavy Equipment Mechanical Designer - 2D AutoCAD & 3D SolidWorks

• 2-year engineering degree and 2 years of experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or material handling system design is a requirement
• 1 year of 3D design experience (SolidWorks preferred) and 1 year of 2D AutoCAD experience is also required
• Pay is up to $70,000
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• No remote
• Full-time, permanent W-2 employee
• Full benefits

• Located in the Brown Deer, Wisconsin area

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Designing 3D SolidWorks drawings to meet customer specifications
• Designing 2D AutoCAD drawings to meet customer specifications
• Making all necessary calculations
• Resolving issues and correcting errors
• Meeting with sales and other engineering team members
• Supporting customers

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

• A two-year engineering degree
• One year of 3D design experience (SolidWorks preferred)
• Two years of professional experience creating 2D AutoCAD drawings
• Two years heavy equipment design experience, machine design experience, or material handling design experience
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
