We're looking for a humble, hungry, and smart Senior SEO Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of multiple client accounts, driving performance through strategic campaign optimization while building strong client relationships. You will work across a variety of B2B and B2C industries deploying various SEO tactics, including but not limited to content planning and creation, backlink building, and technical website maintenance.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience working in SEO
  • Can demonstrate evidence of outstanding SEO results
  • A strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking methods, and various sectors of SEO (Technical, On-Page, Off-Page) and developing strategy around all of them
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, GTM, and Looker Studio
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems
  • Basic/working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, and content management systems like WordPress, AEM, Drupal, Webflow
  • Familiarity with project management systems like Asana and Basecamp
  • Experience / interest in integrating AI into SEO workflows
  • Familiarity with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, as other digital channels like paid media, social and CRO is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully managing 4 to 6 client accounts and communicating effectively with the client point of contact.

  • Ideating, managing, and optimizing SEO strategies that are rooted in your clients core business goals. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Conducting comprehensive site audits, identifying optimization opportunities, and prioritizing recommendations based on expected impact
    • Create SEO strategies that directly tie to and impact client's business goals
    • Performing ongoing keyword research and competitor analysis, transforming findings into content ideas and optimizations
    • Strategizing and implementing link-building campaigns using competitors as a baseline, and evaluating the value of backlinks earned
    • Maintaining, troubleshooting, and analyzing data insights (Traffic Volume/Intent, ROI, CTR, conversion volume, etc.) and building insightful, compelling reports with key actionable insights to clients
    • Monitoring the latest trends and changes in social media and the digital industry
    • Proactively seeking frameworks and tools to increase efficiency in your work

Your primary KPIs will be:

  • Client NPS and innovation scores, collected quarterly

  • Maintaining profitability of managed accounts

  • Client retention and growth within your assigned portfolio
