Position Summary:

The Regional HR Manager is responsible for leading and executing human resources initiatives for the West Region, including facilities in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Texas. Based at the Nampa, Idaho location, this position provides hands-on leadership to a team of HR and Office Managers, fostering a unified and high-performing HR team that supports business objectives while enhancing employee engagement and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support HR/Office Managers across all assigned locations, ensuring consistency in policy implementation and HR practices.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advocate for employees and leadership at each facility, balancing business needs with employee well-being.
  • Implement and maintain performance management processes that drive employee development and organizational success.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in all regional locations.
  • Champion high employee engagement and foster a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with Novae LLC’s mission and values.
  • Lead a Mission driven human resources team and/or function to meet or exceed organizational goals while creating an environment where people can be great at what they do and proud of what they have done. Monitor team performance, promote personal development, and provide them with guidance on performing individual tasks, where applicable.
  • Act as a resource for leaders in proactively leading employees. Advise on organizational policies, employment laws, and, when needed, facilitate the corrective action process through counsel, documentation, and delivery. Discuss situations with the Vice President of Human Resources, as appropriate and to ensure consistency across Novae LLC.
  • Plan and ensure execution of recruitment activities for open roles, including forecasting and monitoring recruitment budget. Perform all recruitment, selection, and hiring functions for professional positions.
  • Conduct and Monitor the On-Boarding Discussions and performance evaluation processes to ensure quality execution and compliance of programs. Refine at the brand level for relevancy. Coach leadership and human resources team, when needed, for better relationship building conversations. Work with Vice President of Human Resources if a holistic change is recommended.
  • Analyze human resources metrics for departmental planning, objective development, and Performance Management System execution.
  • Act as a resource for employees in understanding the expectations and culture at Novae LLC; advise on organizational policies and advocate for positive relationships and individual growth.
  • Ensure the safety of our co-workers through supporting safe work practices, regularly discussing safety as a priority, investigating accidents with the response team, monitoring safety related reports for trends, and participating in corrective action of safety issues, when needed.
  • Work with Corporate Compensation Manager on analysis of compensation. Support the execution of the annual merit consideration cycle, market related wage changes, and other off schedule compensation changes as needed.
  • Work with the Corporate Benefits and Wellness Specialist on the execution of open enrollment, administration of benefit offerings, support the wellness programs from Novae LLC and monitoring leaves of absence.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed. (This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.)

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience, required. PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional leadership role.
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Highly motivated with customer service mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.
  • Able to manage confidential information is imperative.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and unify HR teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the West Region (up to 30%).

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily operates in a fast paced, office environment within a manufacturing organization.
  • Sometime will be spent in production supporting employees.
  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
  • Regular travel to various worksites and meetings, mostly local.
  • Responsibilities require willingness to work outside of typical office schedule.
  • Will meet with employees on the production floors of all plants.
